A Word From The President

This is it, February is here and it’s time to start thinking of spring. I know there is still a lot of winter to deal with. But when you take some time and start planning out your spring and summer corvair activities you will feel better and also realize that spring isn’t too far away. February is also the month that the Capital District Corvair Club has it’s first meeting of the year, another thing to help you feel warmer and think of spring.

Lets talk about meetings. This month we will be meeting at the Halfmoon Diner on Sunday the 8th at 2 PM. At the Christmas party no one signed up for any monthly meetings. This leaves some months open, so if you have something you want to do or somewhere you want to go let us know. Here is a list of meeting dates that we can make and some months that are open. If you have something you would like to try, even if a meeting has a place now, let us know, it may be a good change, and we all like new things.

Tentative meetings

This is the last thing I want to get out to all of you. It was decided at the December meeting to find a new name for our newsletter. The only restriction is that it should somehow focus on the corvair. If anyone has a choice please let Walt Newell or Peter Callesano know. Walt and Peter will pick a new name soon, so give them or me a call.

I know I got off the springtime things so get out a pad and start listing all the corvair things you want to do this year, and soon spring will be here.

That’s it from here. So as always keep the shiny side up. Harold
