Since we didn’t have a meeting in May, I guess we will get right into it and look at what’s coming up for June.

This month should be filled with many opportunities to get that Corvair out and show it off. The big event for June is the Car Show at Hildene. With this two- day outing there is much to do. If you go on Saturday, it’s low profile and laid back. If you go Sunday, well that’s show day and most everyone is in the competition mood. I go for both days and get to enjoy the full range of things. This show always brings out a large number of Corvairs, so don’t miss it. Also this month is Guptils first Cruise-night for this year. If you have never been to a Guptils event, you have to try it. It usually gets so busy that it will take on a life of it’s own.

There was one more thing about June, and that is the Capital District Corvair Club’s meeting at PJ’s Bar-B-Q on the 23rd. Please don’t forget that one. We will meet at PJ’s between 5 and 6 PM. After everyone has eaten we will have a small meeting and try to set out the plans for our August picnic at Thatcher Park. Hope to see you all there.

With July close by, I hope you all have made arrangements for the CORSA Convention in Buffalo. If we all get together in Buffalo, we should be able to sit together at the banquet. If you have extra time before the Convention, try taking a trip to Mosport for the NECC track event on Monday the 24th.
