March! Time to think about spring. With spring it is time to get that Corvair out and show it off. Wait a minute, just because the calendar says March that doesn’t mean we will have good weather. I seems like every year, as March comes in I get all worked up about spring, but every year we get a batch of bad weather in March and it just breaks my heart. Now with that in mind, this year will be different and I’m not going to let March lead me down that trail again. I think I will treat March like it was February and call it winter’s end instead of spring’s beginning. Now that we have set the mood for March, lets look at some good things that will be happening this month. First is St. Patrick’s Day, yum, green beer, and the vernal equinox, which will bring us longer days. Also we can see winter lose its grip on our weather. But most important will be the CDCC March meeting at the Ripe Tomato. Yes, you read it right, this month’s meeting will be held at the Ripe Tomato. I hope a lot of you will come out and enjoy the great food and join in the meeting. We are still looking for some ideas and suggestions for future meetings. So, come on out to this month’s meeting, we can talk about the spring and summer, be with friends and have good food. Now how can you beat that? We are still trying to put together a trip to Springfield, Vermont, to visit a Corvette Museum and Diner, some time in May. In June we will try to get our meeting on a Friday evening at PJ’s (always a good time). Don’t forget the CORSA Convention, in Buffalo, in July. Some new information, the NECC will have a track event in Canada, before the Convention. I’m sure that we will have more information on that from Ray, as we get closer to July. August is the month for our summer picnic, if you would like to try a new place just let us know, so we can discuss it. One last thing, I want to welcome Ray and Linda Zabinski back to our club. We really missed you guys and we’re very glad to have you back. We need the knowledge and balance you bring to us. Well that about does it from here. So until we see each other again, remember “Keep the Shiny Side Up”.
