Here we go again, another May the beginning of another summer full of things to do with your Corvair. With May the car show season is off in earnest. There are many places you can take your Corvair and show it off. If you don't like car shows, how about a cruise night or two? There are some of our members that like to race or autocross and this is the prime time for that as well. And if all that fails then you can take a Sunday drive, and who knows, maybe even have an ice cream, but whatever your likes or dislikes its time to get that Corvair out and have fun.

Anyone who missed the April meeting and tour of the New York State Museum, Sorry you couldn't make it, as we had a good time. I want to thank Bob Addis (who by the way rode a vintage Vespa motor-scooter) and Peter CaIlesano for all their efforts in making that get-together a time to remember. As well as Bob's Vespa, we had three Corvairs, Peter had his 64, the Ruggles with their 66, and Jim and Monica Stewart drove their 65 Convertible which is painted like a 1776 America Flag, and to top that off they rode with the top down. I'm sorry I couldn't get either of my cars out of storage in time, but have since had both of them out for a ride.

There were a couple of things that were discussed at the April meeting that I want to go over now. The May meeting will be held on Saturday, May 14th. We will meet in front of the Saratoga Auto Museum at 1 PM. The June meeting at PJ's Barbeque has been moved to Friday June 24th at about 5:30 PM. The July summer picnic this year, will be held at Thatcher Park on Sunday the 24th. For August we may have a day tour set up by Bob Addis, and we all know that he will put together a nice day.

In closing, I want to say one more time, let's get the Corvairs out, and let the world see them, and above all, have fun.
