I hope all in attendance at the April/May meeting and trip had a good time. The weather was great, the museum was excellent and Brook’s was as good as always. All n’ all it was a good day. With five Corvairs we made a pretty good showing of ourselves.

       There is no meeting in May, and the next time we meet will be June, 23rd at PJ’s. I hope that you are all planning to come, this is a Friday night cruise-in and we have had a good time in the past.

       I believe the host hotel for the CORSA Convention is sold out. I hope we all have our reservations as this will be a busy and fun week.

       Last month we had the chance to visit Spring Fest in Helen, GA. There were some showers on Saturday morning, but not enough to dampen anyone sprits. There was a large group of really nice cars on the show field. We stayed long enough to check out all the cars. They had cars from 1960 all the way through 1969. The village of Helen is small and reminds you of Lake Placid, this was a great place for a Corvair weekend, and we really enjoyed our day there.

       With May here the car show season is going strong. This is a good chance to get all those Corvairs out and show them off. Remember there are many young people out there that have no idea what a Corvair is, so lets get them out and visit a car show or cruise-night and tell everyone about that Corvair and how they work.

       Well I think that I have rambled on long enough. Remember to “KEEP THE SHINY SIDE UP”. I’ll see you at PJ’s.
