Welcome to the Website of the Central Virginia Corvair Club
The Central Virginia Corvair Club is a friendly, family oriented organization formed in 1979 serving Corvair enthusiasts in the Richmond area and surrounding communities such as Charlottesville, Fredericksburg and South Hill. The Club holds monthly meetings, which are a mixture of socializing and business, technical sessions on Corvair upkeep, and social activities such as picnics and banquets. Meetings and activities are held both on weekends and weeknights to provide opportunity for all members to attend. The club also goes on at least one overnight cruise each year and participates in parades.
Members receive a monthly newsletter called the Vairifiable News that contains Corvair technical information, classified ads and club activity plans. Advertising in the newsletter is free for members. In addition to the newsletter and attendance at the meetings, membership in the club provides contact with others sharing your interest in these unique vehicles. We want you to enjoy your Corvairs and to be part of this club. If you'd like to join CVCC please fill out the membership form and return with $1/ month dues pro-rated to July. (See dues pro-rating info on application form - Application Form: Application in Word or Printable Web Page).
Membership in the Corvair Society of America (CORSA) is highly recommended. CORSA membership also enables members ready access to additional information on Corvairs and Corvair related events. A CORSA application form can be obtained on their website.
Each year in the spring, one of the four Corvair clubs in Virginia holds a weekend event called the "Vair Fair". A number of activities are held over the weekend including a Corvair show. In 2008 the Vair Fair was hosted by the Tidewater Corvair Club in Williamsburg. In 2009 the CVCC will host the 30th Annual Vair Fair in Fredericksburg. Click on the Vair Fair button for information on the 2009 Vair Fair.
Feel free to contact one of the individuals listed in this website if you have any questions about the Central Virginia Corvair Club. Please take time to enjoy the photos on this website.
