A.    Items For Sale:  

       1.   (Added 10/9/2018)   Received an email from Sam Russell (Capital City Corvair Club President) in Raleigh, NC.  
             The following cars and parts are being sold due to the passing of Tom Hulsey.    Pictures can be provided if interested.

            a.  Cars:
                 (1)   1965 2dr Yellow Corvair :   Original.   Hasn't been cranked or driven for a long time. Passenger side window is broken.   $1,000 - negotiable
                 (2)   1966 2dr Gray Corvair (California Car):   Original.   Good body, interior fairly decent, good project car.   $750 - negotiable
                          Early smog engine, damage to driver side rear fender.
                 (3)   1968 2dr Dark Green Corvair:    All original.   Good power train.   Engine intact with all plumbing in place.   $500 - negotiable
                 (4)   1962 Green Van:   Project, some parts missing.   Power train still there.    $500 - negotiable
                 (5)   1965 2dr Red Hardtop Corvair:   Might be worth looking at as a project car.  $500 - negotiable
                 (6)   1966 4dr White Corvair:   Parts car, good power train.   Should be a good parts car and complete.   $500 - negotiable

       2.   (Added 10/6/2018)   1964 Monza Convertible for sale.    110 HP, PG.
               Azure Aqua with like new black top, Aqua interior. New radial tires. Recent work includes:
               carbs rebuild, tune up, relay rod bushing, rear shocks, blower belt, wiper motor and more,
               including over $900 in parts. Good condition, I would call it a Hagerty #3.
               Drives great like a Corvair should. Car is in South Boston, VA

       3.   (Added 8/1/2018)   1965 Corvair Monza Convertible for sale.    110 HP, Automatic. Approx. 105,000 mi.,
               Yellow Exterior, with black top and black interior, AM/FM radio, Newer style O-rings, and has convertible top boot.

              a. Condition:
                   (1) Not a perfect senior class car, but 'IT IS' a very good to excellent daily driver.
                   (2) Have owned this car since 1987 and has always been garage kept and covered when not being driven.
                   (3) A real eye catcher at local parades, car shows, and cruise-ins.
                   (4) Purchased while living in Georgia, so as far as I know it is a Southern car.

              b. Items completed in approximately the past 4 years:
                   (1) Undercoating of floor boards.
                   (2) Gas tank removed & professionally cleaned and painted.
                   (3) New internal gas tank filter & sensor. Gas tank & floor boards are very solid & in very good condition.
                   (4) Brand new convertible top & new automatic top motor. Works excellent.
                   (5) New starter.
                   (6) New Electronic fuel pump.
                   (7) Tune-up items (New spark plugs, new spark plug wires, timing, etc.).
                   (8) Rebuilt Carburators.
                   (9) New Battery (June   2018).

              c. 'LOTS' of extra parts that go with the car:   (1)  New black carpet from Clarks.   (2)   New black seat covers from Clarks.  
                  (3)   Spare transmission/transaxle (includes heavy duty roll cart to make it easier to move).   (4)   Extra Corvair rims.
                  (5)  Extra Corvair trim pieces.   (6)   Extra Corvair door panels.   (7)   Corvair books & maintenance manual.
                  (8)   Misc. other Corvair items.

              d.  Items needed:   
                  (1)   Mirror glass on Drivers side mirror is cracked (but usable), so will need new mirror glass or replace the mirror.
                   (2)   Very small area of rust just under the corner of windshield on passenger side.   Can be easily fixed.
                   (3)   Needs new antenna (rear).
                   (4)   Gas level indicator does not appear to be working correctly.   It had been working until just recently.
                           Maybe a minor fix, I just have not had time to check it out.

              e. Tires: Michelin X Radials 175 SR 13 ZX (blackwall).    They are a little old, but still have good tread left.

              f. Very drivable, but I have tow ears if you want to tow it home.    Have a clean North Carolina title.
                   Have owned for over 30 years.   Really hate to sell, but need to sell due to personal reasons.    ($ 9,750)

C.    Miscellaneous:     

        1. Thanks for donating to the Rampside Restoration Project! It is very successful and a great
             project for CORSA/NC. In order to keep the '61 Rampside in great condition - CORSA/NC
             has agreed to help the NC Transporation Museum keep up with maintenance. So keep
             contributing to the Rampside Maintenance Fund so the Rampside can be kept in tip-top shape
             for all to view!

        2. Charles B. West Tool Scholarship Memorial Fund.    Thanks to all who have contributed
            and helped to make this successful.   This is an excellent, on-going project, designed to help
