The September meeting was held on
Tuesday the 16th at Fricano's Pizza on Alpine. It was supposed to be
a nice quiet evening with Corvairs parked together, members talking
and kicking tires, since the busy Fricano's Tuesday Cruise Nights
were over. Well just the opposite happened, the place was packed!
When I arrived, a parking spot was nowhere to be found until you hit
the next business North! It turned out the Tuesday Cruise Night
continued past what was posted on their web site. Corvairs were
parked where ever you could find a spot. Rob and Linda Van Sledright,
Keith Vander Pol and Jack Ridderman somehow landed a front row
spots! How do they do that? Corvairs that deserve honorable
mention, Bill Wright's 66 Vert., Dave Ziebarth's 65 Evening Orchid
Vert., Jack Ridderman's Rampside and Keith Vander Pol's 64 Vert. By
the way, Keith is looking to sell his 64 Convertible, dark blue with
white top and light blue interior, if interested contact Keith, it's
a nice car! One special arrival was in the back of Jack Ridderman's
Rampside! Steve Ridderman recently purchased a 60's vintage Sears
single cylinder motor cycle just like he had growing up. Jack
remembers Steve ridding that motor cycle all over and thought it
would be the death of him! After looking at cars, we headed
in for pizza and suds. Attendees included, Wright, Ziebarth and
family, Strobe, Koning, Lectka, J. Ridderman, S. Ridderman, R. and
C. Counterman, Teppo, Adams and family, Metcalf, R. and L. Van
Sledright, Gruetzmacher, R. and A. Keller, and Vander Pol.

I'm still looking for pictures of the

Send them to wmcc@corvair.org
and I will post them. Thanks.
