On Saturday, May 22,
1999, the West Michigan Corvair Club held its third
annual car display and swap meet. It was also a
celebration of our club's 25th Anniversary. This year
the event was held at the Don Cleveland Antique Auto
Museum in Bangor, Michigan. There were about 20
Corvairs in attendance. The winners of the People's
Choice awards were: Early class - John Istenes from
South Bend, Indiana with his 1964 Monza coupe; Late
class - Dick Shank from Elkhart, Indiana with his
1965 Corsa convertible (sorry we didn't get pictures
of the winners). Once again there were no FC's. The
fourth annual show will be held next year at the same
location.
