Iowa Corvair Enthusiasts

The Iowa Corvair Enthusiasts (ICE) is a state wide car club for Corvair owners and enthusiasts living in the state of Iowa and surrounding areas. It is dedicated to the promotion, preservation and enjoyable uses of the Corvair Automobile.

The Iowa Corvair Enthusiasts, Inc., a non-profit organization, is a chartered Chapter (#526) of the Corvair Society of America (CORSA) PO Box 607, Lemont, IL  60349-0607. ICE dues are $15 annually, and are payable in January of each year for single and two person memberships. Membership entitles you to a subscription to our (almost) monthly newsletter, 'The Iowa Corvair Connection', as well as many other membership benefits. CORSA dues are $38 annually and entitle members to receive the award winning 'CORSA Communique' magazine monthly. ICE members are strongly encouraged, but are not required to be a member of CORSA.

Active ICE members enjoy the following benefits:

• Technical advice from a membership of experienced, friendly Corvair people.
• Social activities including, but not limited to: The Winter Banquet, Spring Tour, Fall Tour, Fire & Ice Time Trials, ICE Picnic, Car Shows, plus much, much more.

Upcoming Events

• Picnic, 26 July 2008, DeWitt, Iowa at Eric Prosise's house. Bix Beiderbeck weekend, spend the morning at the Bix festival, afternoon at Eric Prosise's in DeWitt, then head down to Northpark Mall in Davenport for large cruise night featuring 3D Sound and hundreds of cars. Arrive at Eric's house around 12:30pm, eat at 1:00pm. Pulled pork sandwiches, corn on the cob, and ICE Anniversary cake. Bring a side dish to pass, your lawn chairs and of course, your CORVAIR. • Corvair Society of America International Convention, 21-25 June 2010. ICE will be hosting the International Convention in Cedar Rapids, IA. We will be celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Corvair. Details to be announced.
