LIME ROCK, Sept. 16, 2005
Two parties met at 5 a.m. for our trip to Connecticut. It was still pitch-black out but we made good time!

Got to track about 9 a.m. (after stopping for a nice breakfast). The track was already buzzin’ with cars, people and activity. Three sons of LICA members were busy collecting money for the 50/50 — they collected a lot and did a good job — very good salesmen!!! Terry and Sean were already busy racing for time trials.

The weather was “iffy” but for the most part we had no rain. That day we had the 13 LICA members there. Sean, Mark, and Terry even got awards!!! Good going guys!!

Next day was the show — there were some beautiful cars and the people were very nice. There was even a truck to buy food (food was good too). Toward the end of the day the skies opened up but we were able to finish the awards. It was a nice day and we met a lot of people from other clubs.

On Friday night after the time trials, we all went to dinner at “Four Brothers.” They seated us outside where we had a great view of their home-grown vegetable garden. The food was great and the company was superb! We all had a great time being together and going over the day’s activities.

You can see the pictures in the club’s album at any meeting or LICA function. If you missed Lime Rock, you missed a good time, but we hope to see you next year.
