Our thanks to Scott Trunkill, who provided the photos on this page. This year, nearly forty Corvair enthusiasts registered for NECC’s Waterford Hills Time Trials, which included open track sessions, time laps and a “Taste of the Track” program. This unique event took place on Tuesday July 24 2007, the day before the opening of the Corvair Society of America's annual convention, which was held nearby.

The Northeast Corvair Council ("NECC") conducts high-speed track events for sports car enthusiasts. Our history goes back to 1974, when we conducted time trials for Corvairs at Lime Rock Park in Connecticut. But you don't need a Corvair to drive in our events. Several years ago, we opened up our track events to all other makes of cars. Our starting grid often includes Mazdas, Nissans, Porsches, Mustangs, Evos, Mini Coopers and more.
