Corvair Classification System for Drag Racing.

Because drag racing is so much different than running time trials on a sports car track, we've written special rules just for drag racing.  The drag racing rules include special car classes, tech inspection rules, and a basic itinerary explaining the manner in which we conduct drag racing events.  For a copy of our drag racing rules, please use the Hot Links at the bottom of this page.

Use These Hot Links for More Information.

The following links will enable you to download our rules.  The links take you to pdf files, so you'll need Adobe Acrobat Reader to open them.

Note:  NECC uses transponders for timing at some but not all sports car tracks.  Typically, we use stop watch timing for our time trials.  If the registration package is silent about timing methods, then you can assume we'll be using stop watches.
