Saturday, March 7, 2020  ::::  Monthly Breakfast at the Empire Diner
Location:  The Empire Diner, 1315 U.S. 46, Parsippany, NJ 07054.  Start time: 9 AM.  Directions: The Empire Diner is on the eastbound side of U.S. 46, a short distance east of I-287, and easy to get to from I- 80 or I-287.  Click HERE for a map showing the diner's location.   Remember, at each breakfast we hold a drawing in which one attendee wins their breakfast for free, and another attendee wins a gift certificate from Clark's Corvair Parts.  You can win only if you're there!

Saturday, March 7, 2020  ::::  Tech Session at Ashley's Auto Body
Location:  Ashley's Auto Body, 274 Hillside Avenue, Flanders, NJ.  We'll have our next tech session after the March 7 club breakfast.  Two main topics: Replacement of the speedometer cable, and replacement of a door hinge.  These tech sessions also offer any member the opportunity to have his or her Corvair checked out for any issues prior to the start of "car season."

Saturday, March 21, 2020  ::::  Club visit to the High Point Brewing Company
 Location:  14 Kiel Avenue, Butler, NJ 07405.  Craft brewery specializing in German wheat beer made with Bavarian yeast, offering tours & tastings.  The brewery does not serve food but there are two local restaurants, namely Quinta De Reyes and  The Butler Family  Restaurant.   Both are just two blocks away from the brewery.  We will meet for lunch at either at 1:00 PM before we do the brewery tour.  Then, we'll make our way to the brewery for a 2:15 PM tour.  Quinta De Reyes is at 98 Main Street.  The Butler Family  Restaurant & Diner is at 134 Main Street.  The High Point Brewing Company is at 14 Kiel Avenue.  The brewery has a parking lot that you enter via what looks like an alley.  Full details in the March edition of the NJACE Fanbelt newsletter.

Location:  Ashley's Auto Body, 274 Hillside Avenue, Flanders, NJ.  immediately following the club breakfast.    On April 4 the primary topic will be replacement of door and window weatherstripping.  These tech sessions also offer any member the opportunity to have his or her Corvair checked out for any issues prior to the start of "car season."

Saturday, April 18, 2020  [NEW DATE!]  ::::  Road Trip to the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing
EARHS Showroom, 5080 Kernsville Road, Orefield, PA 18069.  Just outside of Allentown.  The high-pitched roar of sprint cars has not been heard in 35 years at the Allentown Fairgrounds.  But the Eastern Auto Racing Historical Society has a collection of cars and memorabilia from races held at the Allentown Fairgrounds oval track and throughout the region.  Mario Andretti, A.J. Foyt and Parnelli Jones - all Indianapolis 500 winners - navigated these dirt ovals before they became American racing icons.

Sunday, May 24, 2020  ::::  VCCA "Motorama" Car Show in North Haledon
Location:  515 High Mountain Road, North Haledon.  Corvair is the Feature Car!  In May, we'll return to the Jersey Lakeland Region VCCA "Motorama" car show in North Haledon.  The "Motorama" takes place on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend.  Our friends at the VCCA have named the Corvair as the "Feature Car" for this year’s show, in honor of the 60th anniversary of the Corvair's introduction.  In fact, the first 20 Corvairs to register will receive a free wall plaque commemorating their participation.
