Below is a list of typical
activities conducted by the New Jersey Association of Corvair Enthusiasts
(NJACE) every year!
-
Monthly Breakfast Meetings.
First Saturday of most every month at 9:00 a.m. Plenty of Corvair
parking at the Pronto Deli.
-
-
Quarterly Dinner meetings. Always
include some kind of presentation. We've had show-and-tell sessions on
carburetor rebuilding, rust removal, painting, automotive photography, model
car construction and more!
Usually at
the Mt. Olive Grill, Flanders, NJ. The meeting starts at 7:30 pm.
Come earlier for dinner.
-
-
Annual Parts Auction.
Staged by our amateur auctioneers, this indoor February event provides ample
opportunity for NJACE members to get hot deals on Corvair parts plus a few
laughs!
-
-
Annual 'Garage Sale' Swap Meet.
In
April, we hold our first outdoor event of the new year. With vendors from
Massachusetts to Virginia and customers from miles around, the NJACE Garage
Sale is a another good place to shop for Corvair hardware.
-
-
Tech Sessions.
From time to time, NJACE conducts hands-on tech sessions where members get an
opportunity to undertake major mechanical repairs with on-site assistance.
-
-
Annual Summer Barbecue.
Usually held in August, our members get together for a barbecue picnic each
year to eat good food, socialize and show off their cars.
In addition to the activities
above, NJACE members participate in a number of other area, regional, and
national events every year
and the list is constantly changing.
