1966 Corsa Crown Conversion

Terry acquired his low mileage Corv 8 1966 Front View in November of 2002 from the Corsa on line classifieds. The car was originally converted in Michigan from a 180 turbo powered Vair.

Wheels are a set of polished Halibrand five spokes. The rears are 16" X 7" wide with 245-50 rubber and the fronts are 15" X 8" with 225-50's.

The car had a front mounted radiator originally but was changed by a previous owner. A rear mounted cross flow radiator Radiator lying flat in the old engine bay now handles the cooling. It has three electric fans, two below in the shrouded puller style and one on top in a pusher configuration to overcome the high pressure area under the car. Many louvers were added to the deck lid to help with cooling air flow.

The engine is the ubiquitous 327 small block Chevy Engine with a Holley four-barrel carburetor sitting on a high rise aluminum intake manifold. The ignition is GM  HEI and Accell wires. It has a Fireball II cam and a set  of Sanderson block hugger headers.
