1965 500 Crown Conversion
Damon's 65 has a stock body
with some nice fender flaring and enlarging which goes well with the low
maintenance semi-gloss paint job, commonly called primer.
The bright red racing stripe lends just the right
accent to the black primer. A nice set of wire headlight stone guards
protects the lamps
The engine is the always popular Chevy small block 350 with a set of Corvette aluminum heads sporting a 1969 Z-28 intake and a Holley four barrel carburetor. A .500 inch lift bump stick does the valves while a set of ceramic coated Crown headers does the exhaust work. Transmission is a four speed. The wheels are a set of rehabbed American Torque
