This is my third Corvair in my second year into Corvairs.    My family took the tour of the Corvette museum when the Corvair was on display there and we saw the Lakewood on display and Ruthie looked at me and said let's get one of those. I went to South Carolina in January to pick up this beauty and bring it back to Indiana.  It's a 1961 Lakewood with a 110 hp and drive train out of a 66.  We have had a lot of fun taking this car around to some shows and have had many looks and questions about the car which is a big rush when you look up and a crowd is around your car and people want to share a story about a Corvair they had or a family member had.
