Convention Timeline

Every year, the Corvair Society of America holds an International Convention for its members.  Sites are rotated across the United States, from east to west, so all our members can attend.  Each convention is hosted by one or more local chapters of CORSA with assistance from the CORSA national office.  Here is a complete list of the locations going back to the very first convention in 1971.

CORSA’s Customer Service Policies

Returns and Refunds

Membership Dues. No refund of dues or donations shall be made under any circumstances.

Convention Registration Fees and Merchandise. We understand plans can change. If you are unable to attend the convention, please write us canceling your registration (e-mails will be accepted). All convention registration fees and merchandise are completely refundable prior to the pre-registration deadline. After the pre-registration deadline and before the start of the convention, we will refund your individual or family registration fees, car event registration fees, convention merchandise, and any fees for swap meet spaces or indoor vendor tables. We cannot refund tickets for convention tours or the awards banquet if we have purchased those services on your behalf and are unable to use them. After the start of the convention, no refund of registration fees or convention merchandise will be made.

Club Merchandise. We take customer satisfaction seriously. Our policy is simple: We want you to be happy with every merchandise order. If you are not completely satisfied with the merchandise received, please contact us at 630/257-6530. We will provide you with a return authorization number and Return Material Authorization form that must accompany the merchandise returned for prompt processing.

CORSA Merchandise Delivery Standards

CORSA will make every effort to ship the items that you order in a timely fashion. The CORSA Merchandise Chair is a member who volunteers their services to the club. In some cases, it may make take as long as six or seven weeks for you to receive your CORSA Merchandise order. We appreciate your patience.

We have multiple levels and kinds of security, designed to protect your information. Your information is protected both online and offline using technologic and physical measures.

The use of “cookies” is an industry standard that can make the web surfing experience more convenient and valuable you. Six month rate is a discount for prepaid space reservation in consecutive issues or alternating issues during a one-year period. It effectively gives a 1/6 discount for regular patronage. Ad shape or content may be changed monthly. Inquire about special positions, covers, or color.

Specifications: Basic display rates assume camera-ready copy: typeset, art in place. Halftone screens no finer than 133 line. Negatives ready for stripping give best reproduction quality; RC slicks and pasteups are also acceptable. Actual published sizes as follows (in inches, width x height):

Not all sizes fit in all sections of the magazine. lf you have a preference, match ad size to column width or inquire regarding limitations. If copy is not camera ready, we will compose and set from typed copy and supplied art. There is no charge for regular accounts. Send sketch of ad for price quote on layout.

Deadlines: Published monthly for delivery about the first day of issue month. Deadline for commercial ads is the first day of preceding month, i.e., February 1 for March issue.

Billing: Full payment must accompany each ad, unless other arrangements are made. Space and production costs must be paid before ad is published. Make checks payable to Corvair Society of America.
