I recently bought a 1962 Monza 900 with a 102hp engine that seems to have some problems. It has a rough idle and after checking things over I dicovered that the firing order is mixed up. The way it's wired it starts out on number 2 cylinder. I pulled distributor and brought up the number 1 cylinder and got everything reset. It will not start with the correct firing order. After replacing the plug wires back in the original arrangement it starts and runs. Still rough idle and the engine will occasionally clunk when shutting off. What could be the problem? Is it possible that the engine builder installed the cam wrong? I am stumped. And with the shutting off clunk I worry about bending pushrods or valves. I would appreciate all suggestions.

You can access the list of convention years and locations from this website's navigation menu on the left-side of each page.

Hi Raymond Coker - Your wish has been fulfilled! We now have a list of the years and locations for all the CORSA conventions going back to 1971. Dan Davis assembled it for us. Enjoy!

Hi. Looking for help with my 68 Corvair pg 110 carburator. I've just rebuilt the carbs and the right side one is now flooding, and the car won't start. The left one is not flooding. I've taken the carb apart again and it looks ok. Any help would be appreciated. David

I found this article about this "Corvair" prototype that I had never heard about. I thought that I would forward the info & see if anyone else finds this interesting.

    Here's the site link:

I am interested in anyone who is in the process of or has completed a Grand National engine swap into a Corvair. Thanks, Jim
