2020 Color Tour
On October 17 we went on our annual color tour. We followed the route that we intended to use in 2019 but got rained out. We met at Fricano's on Alpine and took a scenic route along the lakeshore. We ended up having lunch at Ludington Bay Brewing Company in Ludington where we sat outdoors on the patio (good thing it was heated). There was more to do after lunch but we decided to end it in Ludington due to the weather.
2020 Spring Dust Off
Our Spring Dust Off was held on Saturday, May 30. We met at Fallasburg Park in Lowell and then took a brief drive. We ended up at the home of Dave and Marilyn Dykwell where we enjoyed a socially distanced picnic where everyone brought their own food. It felt good to finally have an event that was not canceled due to COVID-19.

2020 Zoup Off

The annual Zoup Off was held on February 22 in the community room at Rockford Ambulance. We had nine soups and ten desserts to judge. All of the soups tasted excellent and it was hard to pick a winner. The winning soup was a chicken noodle soup from Steve and Kim Vander Helm. We had a tie in the dessert category between Marilyn Dykwell and Becky Lectka. We held a bowl-off for the tie breaker which was won by Marilyn Dykwell.

After everyone filled up on soup and dessert, we held a bowling tournament that was won by Dan Konkle and Dave Ziebarth. The afternoon ended with some raffle prizes.
 The West Michigan Corvair Club is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan but we cover the western side of Michigan.  We are chapter #495 of the Corvair Society of America.
