ANNOUNCEMENTS - NECC Track Days for 2026!
NECC is currently planning its roster of track dates for 2026. As always, these will be true high performance driving events at racing circuits with open track sessions all day long. We'll announce the track venues and dates as soon as we sign contracts to rent the tracks. Until then, please respond to our Summit Point Straw Poll directly below!
SUMMIT POINT STRAW POLL!
NECC Motorsports has been asked to consider running a HPDE at Summit Point Motorsports Park on the Monday after Father's Day, 6/22/2026. The plan is to run on Sumit Point's Shenandoah circuit with it's great replica of the 180 degree Karussell turn at Nurburgring. (probably the most famous turn in all of racing.)
This event will be held in conjunction with the Corvair Society of America's International Convention in nearby Gettysburg, PA. But you don't need a Corvair to participate. Like all NECC track events, ALL makes and models of cars are welcome! Over the years, we've had everything from a track-prepared Yugo to a Ferrari 208 run with us. This is an open event for all kinds of race cars and street cars, too.
So plan on joining us for a great day at Summit Point with your Miata, Mustang,
Miata, BMW or whatever. Also, please forward this note to anyone you know
who might be interested in this unique experience. Ask them to give us
your name when they reply, so we know who to give the credit too. We intend to
open registration in or around February 2026.
Now, for the poll: Choose either A, B, or C below.
It will just take a minute to choose one of these answers...
A.) Yes, like to attend.
B.) 50/50 chance.
C.) No I will not be attending.
Then, email your answer including your name to Terry
Stafford at: terry_alexis@yahoo.com
Thank you, Terry (631) 682-0832

Get Your Assigned Car Number
Hello NECC Drivers, Here at NECC, we thought you'd like to have a permanent car number that's all
yours. So, we created a list matches drivers' names to car numbers. In most cases, the number assigned to you matches the number you requested in
your most recent registration.
Click or tap HERE to see the list!
In a number of cases, two or more drivers requested the same number when they
registered. If you are one of those people, the number assigned to you likely has a prefix
or suffix of either "1", "4" or "7". For example, a person who select "66" could
be given "166" instead. Why "1" "4" and "7"? Because they are easy to add to your requested number
with either tape or white shoe polish for a quick fix at the track.
Please take a look and see if you are on the list. If not, that means you'll
need to pick a number that's not already assigned when you register for our next
event. Of course, if you're no longer driving with NECC, please give us a quick
reply back to let us know, so we can release that number. Also, let us know If
you prefer not to be on this list, and we will remove your entry completely.
