FREE Corvairs and Parts

Fellow CORVAIR Enthusiasts:

Having recently finished a complete rotisserie restoration of my 64 Monza convertible, I am left with a plethora of parts and items that I no longer need.  The attached photos show a red 64 that is filled with boxes of items like radios, dash panels, chrome trim etc, while the green (62/63?) is filled with metal items like wheels, hub caps, trim, bumpers and heater boxes.  I don’t see either body as rebuild-able, but then again, such possibilities are in the eyes of the craftsman!  Finally, there is a pallet of 2-door coupe doors, mostly complete with glass.  There are no motors or transmissions remaining, however both cars have a full complement of seats.

I am offering the entire lot of items FOR FREE to anyone who would like to come pick them up.  It’s just against my nature to dispose of these items at the scrap metal yard!

There are only two small caveats to this offer:

1. If there is something you like or need, you take the entire car (or both cars!). No picking and choosing!


2. IF you find that you received something useful, please consider a donation to charity. If you don’t have a particular charity, consider Tunnel to Towers or the Gary Sinise Fund. This is NOT a requirement, but a suggestion.   I do not need to know. 

I am interested in moving these before 1 November IF POSSIBLE, as that is when our snow season usually begins.  We COULD have dry conditions until mid December however.  All you need to do is show up with a flat bed and some tie down straps – I have a Bobcat forklift that can place the bodies onto the trailer.
