The original engine was replaced with a 1965 110hp and the car has an automatic transmission. I've owned the car since I was a senior in high school. 1965. It has the original paint colors. Tasco Turquoise and Ermine White, and the original color and style of fabrics inside. The mileage is unknown. When I was a teenage, I replaced the original dash with a Spyder dash cause it was just cool! Later, when I wanted the car back to original appearance, I replaced the Spyder dash with a correct but not original 1960 dash. In those changes, the correct odometer reading was lost. The car was an east coast vehicle originally purchased from a Chevy dealer in Norfolk, VA. I moved to Tulsa in 1990 and the car came with! The car was just on display Sept 29, 2018 in Wichita, KS at the Corvair Roundup regional show and won 1st place in its class in the people's choice competition. This is not a concours car but a real people pleaser. I've really enjoyed years of fun with my old high school car. At 71 y/o now, I'm starting to downsize and my Corvair needs a new home with an owner that can continue to appreciate the class of this ole classic.
