2023 Christmas Party
The Christmas Party was hosted by Doug and Becky Lectka on December 2. The club provided the main dish and a couple of sides and everyone else brought an appetizer or a dessert. After dinner, we had a White Elephant gift exchange with the club providing the gifts.
November Meeting
On November 4 we held our meeting at the TerryTown RV Car Museum. Jamie Reinhart was our host and docent for the day.
2023 Summer Picnic
The weather was looking iffy on the morning of July 15 but by the time our annual summer picnic got under way, the weather was beautiful at Bob Muir’s cottage on the shore of Lake Michigan in West Olive. It may have been a bit cool so that may have prevented some of us from a swim in the lake. We catered the main course of brisket, pulled pork, and baked beans from Two Scotts Barbecue. Everyone in attendance brought a dish to pass so there was plenty of food to eat. Thanks again for hosting us, Bob!
2023 All Air Cooled Show
The All Air Cooled Show was held on June 17 at Gilmore Car Museum.
2023 Spring Dust Off
Our Spring Dust Off was held on Saturday, May 20. We met the Detroit Area Corvair Club at Norm Witte's property, Barntopia, which is in Lansing. Thank you to Norm for hosting us and for the pictures!
2023 Zoup Off

The annual Zoup Off was held on February 11 in the community room at Rockford Ambulance. We had nine soups and eight desserts to judge. We had a four-way tie for first place in both categories. To break the tie, we drew names. Soup winners: 1st place - Ryan Counterman; 2nd place - Becky Lectka; honorable mention - Dave & Marilyn Dykwell and Krisann Lectka. Dessert winners: 1st place - Bob Muir; 2nd place - Cheryl Ziebarth; honorable mention - Becky Lectka and Kim Vander Helm. Our entertainment was remote control car races. Matt Zerilli was the winner and Ryan Counterman was the runner-up. The afternoon ended with some raffle prizes.

The West Michigan Corvair Club is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan but we cover the western side of Michigan.  We are chapter #495 of the Corvair Society of America.
