TECH SESSION

A Tech Session was held on Saturday, May 11, 2024. Thor and Karin Anderson hosted the event at their home. Thor has a beautiful shop complete with a lift for working on his cars. The Andersons graciously provided a variety of delicious snacks and cold drinks for everyone.

Approximately 14 people attended along with 7 beautiful Corvairs (even one on a trailer). The Corvairs were the main focus of the event and most of the time was spent inspecting the cars and attendees just talking. Thor gave a brief discussion about replacing push rod o-rings. He offered some helpful tips and performed a demonstration using a spyder engine that he had mounted on an engine stand.

PEACH DAYS CAR SHOW

Brigham City — The annual Peach Days Car Show has always been a Corvair Club favorite. This year was no exception as six Corvairs were on display, a small but enthusiastic group. Those in attendance had a great time visiting and answering questions about our air-cooled wonders.

Vee Stowell received many compliments on his ’63 Monza Convertible and matching trailer. Don’t miss this fun event next year. Who can resist Corvairs and fresh Peach Cobbler?

OCTOBER CRUISE NIGHT

The Last Cruise Night — The month of October brings cold weather and an end to the Cruise Nights. J.C. Hackett hosted a Halloween themed Cruise Night at the Garage Grill in Draper, Utah.

Over a hundred cars were on display including four Corvairs! Don Young received a best of show award for his beautiful Corv8.
