This is a terrific car; gives a great ride.
A bit about this road-worthy Corvair:
Engine: Made in Tonawanda, New York; 140cid/95hp 2x1bbl; six cylinder; four brand new shocks; new battery; new fuel gauge; new fuel filter + pump; new wires + spark plugs. Odometer works - shows 36K but likely turned over - but speedometer needle has fallen off; I suspect a new sending unit is needed.
Tires in very good condition.
Body: no significant rust, touched up a few spots myself. Could benefit from a paint job but I kept the original white which is mostly intact.
Interior: Original headliner (a few stains); the Corvair has two bench seats, no tears - all in good shape.
Will sell with new brake shoes I haven't installed yet (doesn't need replacing yet; I just ordered the shoes when I ordered the shocks!)
